Snow has finally arrived in Wausau!!! This means I can finally stop ice skating on the lakes with poles, and cross training has officially begun.   I found that this was a pretty good way to replicate skiing for a person who hates to rollerski.  Nine Mile has great snow coverage, but there are still a lot of soft spots on the edges that really like to catch the tips of the skis.  The new salomon skis and boots have arrived, and now I'm just waiting for the bindings.

Bike Hub/Specialized

Just signed on with a great new team for 2011.  Now all I need is some snow to start cross training on.  Birkie 2011 registration is in too.  In the mean time, ice skating on Lake Wausau was fun today, and beats being stuck inside.
